- "Beginner Salsa Lessons"
@ Yemaya
She performs, she teaches, and she
coaches teams. It's hard to find a
reason why not to take lessons from
one of Sacramento's most highly regarded
dancers, Emelie, of Yemaya
Salsa Dance Company. Her newly
located dance studio is off 24th St
and Broadway, in downtown Sacramento.
Her classes are a must try and her
private lessons will definitely help
elevate your skills to another level.
Salsa lessons are being offerred Tuesday
through Thursday (and Zumba).

- Salsa Fridays @ Club 21
The best place to salsa on Fridays
in Sacramento is no doubt @ Club
21. It was "Ladies Night"
(every last Friday of the month),
where ladies get in free before
9:30pm and the tacos are only $1!
There was also an excellent 1-Hour
styling class by one of Sacramento's
best, Emelie of Yemaya
Salsa Dance Company. Check out
more salsa lessons from Emelie Tuesday
through Thursday @
2724 24th Street Sacramento, CA

- "Liberacion" @ Club Montero
(Albany,CA)
Looking in from the outside, Club
Montero does not even look
like a club at all. But once you get
inside, you know this place is the
real deal. Some of the best salsa
dancers go here. It's all about good
music, good people, good salsa! The
venue was packed from wall to wall,
probably one of the more happening
salsa spots I've been to in a while.
1 hour of free lessons by Joel
and Sorcy, whom teach salsa at
the club Th-Sat, and also at UC Berkeley.

A
Salsa Dancer's Perspective on the Bay
Area Scene
Looking for an insider's perspective on
the hot places to go in the bay area?
A salsa enthusiast named Eddie H. posted
his thoughts on 26 salsa hot spots in
the bay area!!! That's right, a whopping
26 spots in the bay area!
Below are some of the best online step
by step salsa videos I've ever seen. In
my opinion, they are better than attending
classes because you can watch them over
and over again to study the move more
closely. They've also got great male styling.
Plus, how can you beat FREE! Taught by
